Crazy Lil's Bar
Located at 27 east cross street in the heart of federal hill in downtown Baltimore.
Federal Hill is the neighborhood directly south of Baltimore's Inner Harbor. If you head south down Light Street past the Science Center, after about five blocks or so you'll get to the Cross St. Market. The area directly around the market contains a nice collection of really good bars. The best of which is Crazy Lil's. Gus and Patty Bush started going to Lil's within weeks of it's openning and have been frequenting this fine place since.
It's a hard place to describe, but they got some big flat screens behind the bar which serves three dollar car bombs (Always a great bet for a night of drunkenness). If you are there on Friday or Saturday night, ask around if John is working. If he is, buy him a shot of Tuaca and tell him it's from the Drunk Idiots.
Lil's always has a good crowd on Friday and Saturday nights. If you get there before nine, you might be able to stake claim at the bar and keep you drunk ass on that spot for the night. The crowd is usually pretty good looking and is always freindly. Of all the bartenders that have come and gone, the three of us haven't encountered one that we haven't liked.
All in all, it's a great place to spend a night drinking, or at least the best place to get the night started.
